WHAT’S TRENDING NOW: NEON

Neon is making a major comeback! It’s one of those trends that you either love or hate. To be honest I was not a fan at first because most of the neon pieces I was finding were a little more on the trashy side and reminded me of a bad 80’s movie.

It honestly wasn’t until I finally gave in and tried on a neon dress at the Alice and Olivia boutique and I fell in love!

Neon yellow/ green is my favorite of the neon family, but I also love this neon orange top that I found at Anthropology!

The way that I would style any type of neon is with denim and a lucite accessory, whether that be heels or a bag. The lucite/acrylic is the perfect touch in my opinion. Less is more with neon!

I love these and these heels and how cute is this little bag?! The perfect accessories to go with any neon look in my opnion.

Below are a few more neon items that I’ve grown to love. I am loving this tank, this cinched top and this skirt is in my cart (it’s under $100).

What are your thoughts on this trend?

THE WHITE DENIM EDIT

One must have for Spring is a pair of white denim. Each year I purchase a few pairs which you will see my living in. White denim pairs well with really any look, especially a fun pastel or blue denim top. I also love to dress up white denim with a cute little black tank for more of an evening look.

Today I’m sharing THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO WHITE DENIM. Right now I am obsessing over any high waist, wide leg, and alllll about the cropped look and these have been my go-tos (and theyre under $60!) I also love skinnies, flares and bootcut. Below are a bunch of options so you can pick your poison!

I typically shop higher end denim because they usually last a bit longer, but I found this pair at Mango for under $60 and have been wearing them nonstop! I am super into cropped wider leg options right now and have been finding quite a few lately.

If you’re on the hunt for a pair of white denim for Spring, I’ve got you covered! So many cute options below.

A TRANSITIONAL SPRING DRESS

Happy Spring! Today I’m sharing the prettiest maxi dress that is the perfect transitional piece for Spring. I love a good floral pattern here and there, especially something a little less feminine and more on the edgy side. This Rachel Roy black maxi checks all of those boxes for me.

OUTFIT DETAILS: DRESS / BELT / FAUX LEATHER JACKET (ON SALE!) / SANDALS (LOOK 1) / BOOTIES (LOOK 2) / BAG (SIMILAR)

One of my favorite things about this dress is that it’s floral, yet not too feminine due to the color palette. I also love the layering of the material on the skirt! Its flowy on the bottom and cinched around the waist. It’s really the perfect shape, and flattering for all!

I love dressing up a maxi by adding a belt and throwing on a pair of heels. I’ve worn this look to both a bridal and baby shower already. It’s also the perfect Spring wedding guest dress!

It can also be dressed down by pairing with a leather jacket and booties. This is a great look to wear to work or out and about on the weekends. Not to mention, Springtime here in San Francisco means we always need a light jacket or coat.

What is your take on Spring florals?

TEN BODYSUITS YOU NEED IN YOUR WARDROBE

I am a huge fan of bodysuits. They are so easy to style with any pair of pants whether with denim, paper boy trousers, skirts, you name it. I love a simple look and I think everyone should have a black and white bodysuit in your wardrobe. Today I’m sharing ten bodysuits that I’ve found to be (comfortable) and easy to style essentials.

OUTFIT DETAILS: BODYSUIT | PAPER BAG TROUSER | BAG | SANDALS | NECKLACE

Shannon Righetti Photography

I love these paper bag trousers that I found on sale from Revolve! Since they are loose in the waist and not form fitting I paired with a simple black bodysuit with a fun neckline. If pants have a tie belt or if you want to show off a belt with your look I suggest you pair with a form fitting bodysuit.

It’s hard to find a bodysuit that is comfortable and many of my below picks I have tried are just that. I do recommend sizing up in many of these as they do tend to run a bit small.

I love this and this fun neckline, this open back option and how sexy is this little number? I also love this and this white bodysuit as I can imagine styling them both so many different ways. I also have this simple white bodysuit ($36) and wear it often! Size up in this one for sure.

What do you guys think? Are you a fan of bodysuits?

xx Jenna
