A PERSONALIZED GIFT FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL

With Thanksgiving right around the corner it’s the perfect time to show someone in your life that you appreciate them. Whether it be a friend, co-worker, family member or someone who has influenced your life in some sort of way I like to take this time to say thanks.

I have always loved the idea of creating something personalized for loved ones, but I’ve been running out of ideas over the years! One thing that I’m sure everyone in my life will appreciate is a bottle of wine! We are big fans of celebrating every milestone with a bottle of wine, or simply sitting down at the dinner table enjoying a glass of wine with family. How incredible is it to create your very own wine label for that special someone?!

A personalized label is such a special touch, and the best part about creating your own on the Windsor Vineyards site is that you can design the label any way you’d like for any occasion. Its such an easy process. You can choose a template, upload any image of your liking or create a label from scratch. You can create for a birthday, milestone event, a thank you gift or even in place of a holiday card. There are endless options!

I decided to create a label for Jeff. He has been such a supportive partner the past few months specifically (and our entire relationship) that I wanted to give him a special bottle of wine to show him how much I love and appreciate him. He is so selfless, always puts others before himself and has been such a special person in all aspects of my life.

A few years ago I created a few wine labels for my best friend’s wedding. I created one for each big milestone in her newly married life, they absolutely loved it! I am also thinking about creating custom wine labels as holiday gifts this year instead of cards.

What I love about Windsor Vineyards is that their wine is incredible, its not super pricey and they apply the label and package so nicely that you dont have to do a thing!

HOLIDAY STYLE WITH MARGARET O’LEARY

Hello my loves! I can’t believe that I’m already kicking off my first holiday post today! It still hasn’t sank in for me that the holidays are right around the corner. It’s the best time of year for me (and many I’m sure). So many family gatherings, parties and celebrations means it’s time to think about holiday styling ideas!

Today I’m so excited to be partnering with one of my favorite shops, Margaret O’Leary to bring you a holiday look you can take from day to night. I’ve been shopping at the Margaret O’Leary boutique on Fillmore Street in San Francisco for years now, and I just found out they have boutiques all over the US as well as an online store! They have insanely stunning pieces perfect for the holiday season.

EVENING LOOK:

I would typically gravitate towards a dress for a holiday part or gathering, but I am loving the look of longer silk skirts! The color of this one is stunning and it also comes in mahogany and black. I paired the skirt with a velvet and lace cami, leather jacket and a black pair of strappy heels. The embroidery detail of this tank is to die for, I had to wear it again for a more casual look!

DAYTIME LOOK:

For a daytime event or casual happy hour I typically throw on a pair of jeans with a more dressy top. This velvet cami is very holiday-esq which will instantly dress up any look. This gorgeous cardigan is also perfect for a chilly San Francisco day or night.

And for a few other items I’ve been eyeing from Margaret O’Leary…

This pleated skirt, as well as this velvet skirt are other beautiful skirt options. I have my eye on so many sweaters including this turtlneck, this smocked cuff sweater and this coat. This lace cami is a must have, along with this cashmere wrap jacket.

TREND REPORT: PUFF SLEEVE TOPS

I’m not the biggest fan of 80’s style, but there is one trend that I’m glad is back in full swing… the puff sleeve! I’ve been on a hunt for a cute puff sleeve top and I love that the shell is sheer and the sleeves are gorgeous. It’s such a beautiful top that when I saw it in person I loved it even more. Its also perfect to dress up for holiday parties, and I will be doing just that this season! (Isn’t it crayzay to think the holidays are right around the corner?!)

The top I’m wearing is a bit on the pricey side, but the material is very high quality and well made. This is such a classic piece that I can justify spending a little more on something I will re-wear many times. It comes in white as well!

Below are a few more puff sleeve tops I’ve had my eye on. This floral version is GORGEOUS! The perfect fall florals with the cutest sleeves! I’ve also had my eye on this and this turtleneck version, as well as this white top that I’ve been waiting to come back in stock and it’s here!

THE FALL STYLE ROUND-UP: UNDER $100

Let’s talk fall fashion, shall we?! I’m pretty excited for sweater weather. Layering fun pieces, cute little booties, the whole she-bang. The only thing is, its now Summer in San Francisco! I still don’t understand why we get our summer weather in October, but we still do get cooler nights and some foggy days which helps with the Fall fashion cravings.

Today I’m sharing some of my favorite fall finds all for under $100. So lets get right to it!

SWEATER WEATHER

Bring on the cozy sweaters! I love the look of oversized sweaters with denim or skirts. Obsessed with this oversized turtleneck tunic, this sweater dress and this wide sleeve knit. This and this off the shoulder sweater are both in my cart! Can you tell I’m loving ALL neutrals?

COZY JACKETS AND COATS

So many fun jackets, perfect for layering! From corduroy, to leather to suede, I cant get enough of the moto jacket. I also love this and this plaid blazer, and this and this faux fur jacket. Also, how cute is this puffer?!

CUTIE BOTTOMS

It’s not easy finding a pants for under $100, but I’m absolutely loving this olive green high waist pair, and this and this pair of denim. I posted these gingham pants on my instagram a few days ago and you guys loved them as much as I do. Not to mention, they are a steal for under $60!

THE ACCESSORY CORNER

Bring on allll the hats. I love wearing hats outside of work and they are especially cute paired with sweaters and coats. From baker boy caps, to wide brims to baseball hats I will be wearing multiple this season. Also, can’t stress enough how much I love these booties. I wear them so often I may need to snag another color.
