THE CAMEL COAT GUIDE

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is already a few weeks away?! I feel like I say this every year but it has truly flown by! Anyways, during this season I am always on a camel coat kick. They are  definitely a wardrobe essential, especially now that the weather is cooling off and the holidays are just around the corner. Today I’m sharing a few camel coats to get you ready for cooler days.

OUTFIT DETAILS: COAT / TEE / SKIRT / SNEAKERS

As you can see I’m a big fan of camel! I picked up the tee and skirt from Zara while we were in Chicago and this gorgeous camel coat from Asos. This coat is super affordable which is a big win!

Below I’ve included coats at all price points. This one is on the higher end, but such a great investment piece that will hold up for years. This one is mid-tier but such a beautiful classic. And how cute is this Topshop coat (for under $130)?! Its in my cart! And a few others for you girls to check out….

Have a great week! xo

THE MUST-HAVE ACCESSORY OF THE SEASON

Hope you all had a great weekend! We were up in Sonoma this weekend picking up wine shipments and hanging with the fam. I am actually thinking of putting together a big Sonoma round up post for you guys, where we like to eat, drink, shop and all of the must-do’s in Sonoma. What do you think?

Anyways, I have been wearing a ton of hats lately and I am OBSESSED with fiddler hats in particular. I seriously cant stop wearing this one! Its so good, perfect for a bad (or good) hair day and livens up any outfit. If you are going to buy one accessory this season, I would definitely recommend it being a hat of some sort.

OUTFIT DETAILS: TANK / DUSTER / DENIM (SIMILAR) / HEELS (SIMILAR) / HAT

OUTFIT DETAILS: SWEATER / SKIRT / OVER THE KNEE BOOTS / BAG / HAT

Fiddler caps, fisherman caps, wide brims, beanies, baseball hats….you name it, I’m in. I think I’ve worn some sort of hat every weekend for the past few months. It’s definitely the season for hats! I’ve rounded up a bunch more for you girls, including this hat that is my absolute favorite, this beanie you NEED for winter, and I’m actually pretty into the beret look as well! I have yet to try it, but I just pulled the trigger on this one and will let you know what I think!

Some hats can definitely be statement pieces, but I hope this season will get you out of your comfort zone and go for it!

THE COLOR YOU NEED IN YOUR WARDROBE FOR FALL

Hope you all are doing well! We just got back from a trip to Chicago, and if you follow my instagram stories I’m sure you’ve seen that it was jam packed! I’m putting together a full Chicago post for you girls, so stay tuned for a mini travel (and outfit) guide coming soon!

I’m so excited to share a fun look with you today. I dont know about you girls but I have a newfound love for the color mustard. Its the perfect for Fall and I feel like it compliments so many skin tones. I found this dress from VICI and fell in love! I love the layered ruffles, long sleeves and satin feel. Its definitely a favorite at the moment, perfect for date night or event.

OUTFIT DETAILS: DRESS / BAG / SHOES / EARRINGS / NECKLACE

I am usually a black dress kind of gal, but I saw this dress on the VICI site and had to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised with both the shade and fit, another VICI win in my book. The mustard color is PERFECT for Fall and I’ve already been on the hunt for more mustard finds.

Here are a few other mustard dresses (and dusters) I found that I’ve had my eye on…

Hope you all have a great week! xo

7 THINGS YOU (PROBABLY) DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT US

Today is our 7 year anniversary! Its seriously CRAZY how time flies. I am so lucky to have Jeff to do life with. He is the most patient, understanding, genuine and loving person I know. Luckiest girl in the world to have you by my side.

Jeff doesn’t make too many appearances on the blog so in the spirit of 7 years, I wanted to share a little more about us below.

Jeku Photography

7 THINGS YOU (PROBABLY) DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT US:

  1. We met at a bar when I was 23! Such a baby. Jeff hates to tell people we met at a bar, but I feel like its normal, right? It was during one of the Giant’s World Series Games (I was wearing a Giants baseball hat) and we have been together almost every day since!
  2. Jeff doesn’t drink water. SERIOUSLY. Not sure how he is still alive, he must have some sort of Superman capabilities. He has also NEVER had a hangover. Seriously not human. Myself on the other hand… have to drink 10 gallons of water a day and get hungover after 1 glass of wine.
  3. Our favorite thing to do on a Friday night is to binge watch King of Queens, Sons of Anarchy, followed by Diners Drive Ins and Dives. We love DDD so much that one year Jeff dressed up as Guy Fieri for Halloween and I was a slab of bacon.
  4. Jeff to this day still opens the car door for me. He will always give up his seat for a lady and is the most “old school” and gracious guy. Why are there not more men like this these days??
  5. We both love working out. We head to the gym together after work almost everyday of the week. Once we get there, we work out separately, but love sharing that time and passion with one another.
  6. We both have strong opinions and neither of us backs down from a debate. So in other words, we fight. But usually forget why we were fighting and its usually my goal to move on pretty quickly and forget about it.
  7. We are complete opposites. Jeff is much more laid back, as I am the more dominant one. As dorky as it sounds, he is the ying to my yang. We often dont understand each others way of thinking but over the years we have learned how to be ok with that. I love that we are so different. Always keeps me on my toes!

Happy Anniversary babe!!! Here’s to many more adventures to come. xo
