If not, you are only a few days away!!

If you are waiting for public access, be sure to take a look early so you can quickly snag what you want before it sells out!

In my last post I shared my everyday style favorites broken down by category to make it easier for you girls to shop. Today I am sharing my favorite part of the sale… my activewear must haves!

You can see the bright side of the dressing room is not as full as the other. I tend to go for black workout clothes as you know, but there are soo many cute bright tanks on sale!

Soooo many good basics! I love snagging basic black leggings when they are on sale. These are THE BEST and under $35!!!

Activewear can get pretty expensive, so I LOVE taking the opportunity during the #NSALE to pick up a few things that I wouldn’t normally at full price. Basic black leggings are a MUST and these are the perfect high waisted pair. I picked up this blue pair for only $36, and these Koral leggings for $50 off!

I love all of the sweatshirts that are on sale, including this Adidas one which is perfect for athleisure / travel. I also purchased this super cute Nike crop sweater for under $50. I have been eyeing this Nike windbreaker forever, and now that its at a managable price I purchased for early morning or evening runs.

Obsessed with this and this sports bra, and these super comfy Nike Free’s are now $30 off! they are the perfect everyday sneaker and love them in simple white.

If you pick up anything from the sale, I would recommend taking a look at basics. It’s the perfect time to stock up on boots for Fall, denim, leather jackets and activewear! Hope this post helps you girls sort through all of the good sale finds!!

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE EARLY ACCESS: EVERYDAY STYLE FAVORITES

Happy Thursday loves! The much anticipated day is here… the NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE early access is live! The really good stuff sells out quickly, so if you are a Nordstrom card holder you can start shopping today. If you aren’t a cardholder, no worries you can start shopping the sale on July 21st or sign up today. They have both a credit and debit card which come in handy if you shop at Nordstrom often (guilty!) I held off as long as possible, but in order to gain early access (and get a $20 note) I finally caved with the debit card but sooo glad I did!

This Nordstrom SALE is especially my favorite because it isn’t the left overs from last year that didn’t sell, it’s all brand new and pre-fall pieces that are on crazy markdown! They are SO many great steals that I snagged and cant wait to share!

This is my favorite time to snag boots for Fall, denim, jackets and those other guys that I’ve been eyeing and just needed that little nudge to make the splurge.

I know if can be quite overwhelming to shop the sale with so many good items, that somehow seem to vanish quickly so I am here to help you sort through everything and bring my favorites to the front and center. Be sure to buy the items you love, have had your eye on, or items you think will be the first to go. So here we go with all of my favorite everyday style picks from the sale…..

TOPS & JACKETS:

If you snag one thing from the sale, make sure this is it! This is my favorite leather jacket of ALL TIME and I wear it constantly. Such a great purchase, especially at $65!! I am loving the basic tees, sweaters,  this fun top, and this plaid tunic.

PANTS:

The best time to get your hands on some denim! These are my favorite, and how fun are these jeans? I have been needing to snag some faux leather leggings since last winter, and finally pulling the trigger!

DRESSES & JUMPSUITS:

Dying over this and this dress. I also love these red jumpsuits! I have been eyeing this PJ set for awhile as well and now its only $35!

SHOES:

Can’t resist a good shoe sale. These, these and these are all in my cart. Now is the time to purchase an over the knee boot. I like to wait until they go one sale, and am actually swinging by the store for these to make sure they fit my calves. These are under $85! These and these are also the perfect Fall booties!

ACCESSORIES:

LOVE these tortoise shell sunglasses and these aviators. This is the perfect cross body and the perfect summer straw tote for vacation or a beach day. I am heading to Palm Springs next week and taking this with me. I’ve been contemplating this hat for awhile and now its $30!

As mentioned earlier, if you girls aren’t card holders you can still sign up today and shop, or you can wait until the sale opens to the public next week! I will also have a dedicated fitness style post to come later this week so stay tuned for that! Happy shopping loves! xo

FULL BODY WORKOUT WITH BASECAMP FITNESS

Most of you have gotten a sneak peak of this project I’ve been working on from my Instagram posts, but today I am excited to share my collaboration with Basecamp Fitness!

Basecamp Fitness is a workout focused on interval training at your highest intensity. Its a quick 35 minute class (LOVE!) which pushes your limits in one minute intervals alternating between strength and cardio. So you spend 60 seconds on a cardio bike aka “assault bike” which creates more resistance the faster you pedal. Then you hit the floor for 60 seconds of strength training. In this 60 seconds you use weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, resistance bands, TRX, whatever the exercise calls for. The workout always ends with an optional 10 minutes of abs, but who would skip out on a little ab work!?

When you walk into Basecamp Fitness, you are greeted by the most friendly staff who gets you signed in and lets you know what bike you are starting on. There is an instructor in each class, but there is also a monitor which keeps track of time and also shows you which exercise is up and also demonstrates what the exercise looks like. There are 4 groups, so everyone in class is on a different exercise, or on the bike each minute. Each day of the week is different and focuses on a different muscle group and type of exercise. There are so many to choose from, all of which will leave you sweating and feeling accomplished.

OUTFIT DETAILS: ALALA JACKET / LULULEMON TANK / LULULEMON SPORTS BRA / LULULEMON TIGHTS / NIKE SNEAKERS

Basecamp Fitness is located only in California (for now) in San Francisco, Burlingame, Santa Monica, Pasadena and West Hollywood. Check their website here for locations. Special shout out to the San Francisco Basecamp gang- thank you for being so supportive and kind, you guys are the best!

I love that Basecamp really makes you feel like you are in a welcoming environment which I have found hard to find these days. They are so supportive and really want to help you reach your goals. If you pedal your heart out and reach 5 miles on the bike, you are awarded with a special shirt. If you attend 10 classes in a month or and if you reach your personal fitness goal, you are awarded as well. The environment here really makes you want to come back and spend more time at the studio. I am addicted!

Ok, now for the workout! Sharing a Basecamp inspired workout, with a twist. This is similar to something you will see in class, but something I put together for you guys to try on your own if you dont have a Basecamp Fitness in your area. This workout will train all major body parts and take 30 minutes for 2 rounds. You can do this workout anywhere that you have equipment. I am demonstrating most of the moves below.

A quick switch between high intensity cardio and strength training is the best way to reach your goals. Even when I am not in class, I make sure to mimic this idea at the gym on my own. The Basecamp workout is quick, effective and makes you stay focused. I love the fact that the class is only 35 minutes, but with each class I feel stronger and faster. Basecamp is always challenging me whether it be with balance, endurance or strength. They make it fun to move and sweat! Like I have said before, I am addicted AND seeing results!

If you are in the area, come workout with me! I have been posting on my Instagram ahead of time with the dates and times of classes I have been attending and would love to see you there! Your first class is always free, just be sure to tell them that I sent you!

DATE NIGHT STYLE // FAVORITE RESTAURANTS IN SAN FRANCISCO

I always look forward to Friday night, not only because the work week is over but because its usually our date night. We love exploring new restaurants as well as heading to our local spots. Ending the week with a glass of wine, good food and good company is always a good idea! I like to turn my Friday night meal into sort of a ‘cheat meal’ because there are too many good options that I cant pass up! Today I’m sharing some of our favorite restaurants as well as one of my date night looks, wearing my go-to colors: black and white.

DETAILS: TOP / PANTS / HEELS (SIMILAR) / BAG (SIMILAR HERE AND HERE) / EARRINGS (SIMILAR HERE AND HERE)

I almost always throw on a black tank with a pair of skinny jeans, leather jacket and heels, but I recently found these amazing lace up flared capris and could not pass them up! They add a little summer flair to date night style. I also love that they have a high waist so I can wear one of the many crop tops I own. Crop tops are not easy to pair, as I feel as if the pants need to fit high on the waist but not too tight. These are the perfect fit! The only thing that I will say is that red wine and white pants are a scary combo!! It hasn’t happened yet, but please pray for me!

And some of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco:

A16: One of my favorite neighborhood spots, this cozy restaurant in the Marina if the perfect spot for pizza and wine. We love both sitting at a table or the wine bar if we can’t get a res . Start with buratta, then be sure to try the pizza. Such a cozy date night / cheat meal spot!

Causewells: This is our weekly date night or brunch spot. Its a few blocks away from the apartment, but also one of the best restaurants in the Marina in my opinion. We always walk in without a reservation and sit at the bar for a glass of wine before dinner. Causewells has an award winning burger which is a MUST TRY. I also love the house made ricotta, deviled eggs and smoked trout salad.

Spruce: My favorite restaurant in the city! It is more on the pricey site, but I love the ambiance and of course the food is to die for. We love heading to Spruce for special occasions. The roasted chicken, fois gras, tartar all have my mouth watering. You can also sit at the bar and indulge in one of the best burgers in the city (after Causewells). Food, service and ambiance are all A+++.

Terzo: Such a fun Mediterranean tapas spot in Cow Hollow. The atmosphere is warm and romantic and the food even better. I love the mozzarella de buffalo, bruschetta , hummus, meatballs, all to share with your sig. other.

Allegro Romano: This old school Italian restaurant is perfect for date night. It is located at the top of Russian Hill in a residential area, charming and quaint in every way possible. The staff is the sweetest, they greet you with open arms and always end the evening giving the women a red rose. All of the food I have tried is spectacular and always leave feeling the love. A hidden gem, worth checking out!

Gary Danko: A special date night spot for a birthday, anniversary or celebratory occasion. Gary Danko is extremely pricey, but so worth it to me. It’s one of the fanciest restaurants in SF and the service and décor are absolutely impeccable. Make your reservations well in advance and be prepared to be pampered! Hot tip: You can walk in and sit at the bar with a full menu!

Beretta: Located in the Mission, Beretta’s menu includes antipasti, pizzas, pastas, risottos, and rotating daily specials like cioppino and short ribs. While you wait for a table, grab one of the excellent cocktails at the bar. It’s open late night (food til 1 a.m.), and for weekend brunch.

I am also dying to check out Leos Oyster Bar, State Bird Provisions, Rich Table and Media Noche. Are any of these on your list? What is your favorite?

WHY YOU NEED TO GET YOUR HANDS ON THIS COCONUT OIL

Today I wanted to share one single product that I cant live without. The multi tasker of all multi taskers: Kopari’s Coconut Melt. This coconut oil feeds into the coconut craze, but better.

The Coconut Melt is 100 percent pure, organic, and unrefined coconut oil that melts on contact. It’s basically loaded with moisture and a yummy fragrance that I cant live without!. There are many kitchen coconut oils on the market, but Kopari is different in the fact that it’s formulated to use on both skin and hair. Kopari’s coconut oil is sourced from small family farms in the Philippines and made from 100% organic coconut oil.

DETAILS: COCONUT MELT / ONE SHOULDER TOP / JEANS / HEELS / BRACELET

I did want to mention that this post in NOT sponsored in any way, but has changed my beauty routine and needed to share with you guys! I am so glad I got my hands on this specific coconut oil for so many different reasons. From slathering my skin with extra moisture, to removing makeup, to substituting as an eye cream, shave cream, and my favorite of all, using as a hair mask.

Here is how I use Kopari’s Coconut Melt:

For the body:

This product hydrates and moisturizes my skin like no other! The melt is a solid in the jar, but you warm it up in your hands for a few seconds and instantly turns to an oil. I love slathering it on my entire body right after I get out of the shower. It smells so incredibly yummy and I feel instant moisture which lasts all day. You can also use it as massage oil, or even as a shave oil!

For hair:

Probably my favorite way to use this product! I LOVE warming up the oil in my hands and applying to the ends of my hair at night. I then sleep with the coconut oil in my hair and wash out in the morning. When I shower in the morning I like to do a double wash just to make sure all of the oil is washed out, then dry as normal. The first time I tried this I was completed in shock of how beautiful and silky smooth this made my hair. It is truly the best conditioning mask that I’ve used. I love the way my hair feels and have never experienced a better texture or more shine.

For lips:

Love applying as a lip balm, especially right before bed so that the product is able to sink in and work its magic all night.

For face:

I was a bit hesitant to apply an oil to my face, but it really helped my dry skin! I only use in necessary spots such as under eyes or any other especially dry area. You can also use this oil as eye makeup remover, then follow with a face wash and moisturizer.

Next on my list to try is the Coconut Body Glow and Coconut Face Cream . Have any of you tried these products before? What do you think?
