With 2022 right around the corner, I’ve been reflecting on the year and realized our wedding doesn’t have a permanent place on the blog! 2021 was the very best year of my life. The year we finally got married (twice)!
9.25.21 – It was so worth the wait. Celebrating our marriage with our family and friends was without a question. Although we legally married back in April, this wedding was everything I’ve ever dreamt of as a little girl. Thank you to our family, friends and vendors for sticking with me and truly making my dreams come true. The word ‘epic’ is what we keep using to describe it. It was the most epic celebration of a lifetime.
I’ve dreamt of shooting with a vintage car on my wedding day and the dream of ours came true with this 1956 Lincoln Continental. Jeff’s a total car guy, and this car originally owned by Henry Ford has won many awards, so I threw on a pair of sheer gloves and my vision came to life.
Introduced as Mr. & Mrs. A moment of pure happiness. What a feeling. We danced our way into the party with the song ‘Start Me Up’ by The Rolling Stones. 🎼 From that moment on it was time to celebrate. We made it!
After 10 years of dating, 3 postponements and 2 ceremonies, this day was full of so many emotions. We said our vows to each other for the first time, laughed and smiled so much our faces hurt, and the moment Jeff saw me in my dress he claims he ‘ugly cried’, then told me he was as speechless. And that right there is what life is all about. I love you Mr. Bottom.
