April 10, 2021 couldn’t have been any more perfect. The weather was supposed to be cold and overcast but it turned out to be the most gorgeous day of our trip back to New England. We keep reliving the day in our heads and over and over say that it could not have been any better. We had just our immediate family by our side and while we missed our extended family and friends, the day was so intimate and special to us.
We walked down the aisle at Jeff’s hometown church in Hampton Falls NH, then had an incredible family dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in NH. After so many pivots and date changes in our wedding planning, this day couldn’t have been more perfect. Exceeded all of our expectations and then some. Literally still beaming and probably will for months + years to come.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt happier. My face hurt from smiling so much. So many emotions were captured I really wasn’t expecting. I remember walking down the aisle shaking, crying, smiling bigger than anything, all at the same time. Looking at Jeff and our family I also saw huge smiles and many tears. It was indescribable. We’re an emotional bunch and I love that about us. We finally did it, after many postponements, date and venue changes!
