WELCOME TO MIAMI: TRAVEL GUIDE

Jeff and I just got back from an ahhhhmazing trip to Miami so I’m excited to share more about the trip. Where we stayed ate, drank and what I wore. It was technically a work trip as Jeff had a conference, so I tagged along for the ride as it is one of Jeff’s favorite places in the world. It was my first time to Miami and did it surpass my expectations!

We stayed at The Confidant which is located more so in Mid Beach. During the day when we weren’t working, we spent a lot of time at the beach and walking up and down the boardwalk exploring. We also rented bikes and rode along the beach with stops along the way.

Where We Ate:

The food in Miami is incredible. We didn’t have one bad meal. Sharing where we ate above as I made a list ahead of time based off recommendations and all of the food was insane.

For lunch, we mostly ordered at our hotel, but Cecconi’s was a favorite. The meatballs and steak tartare were at the top of the list. For dinner, Joe’s Stone Crab is a must, 1 Hotel Rooftop is such a cool vibe, and Villa Azur and Baoli both had amazing food and turn into a nightclub after 10.

Miami is of course known for it’s late night scene and while I’m not a huge partier, I loved the vibe. The energy is on a different level. We went to so many classy lounges, bars and restaurants with good music and even better times. The Versace Mansion also known as Villa Casa Casuarina and Broken Shaker were great spots to grab a cocktail. Mangos is a fun divey place with live entertainment which was a lot of fun, and Raspoutine is an upscale lounge which was also one of my favorite late night spots.
